Thus Trinimac became Malacath, and thus the good-aligned Azura and Meridia are both Daedra in spite of being helpful to mortals.

Vigilants of stendarr will hate you and attack you on sight regardless of what form you are in.
Lesser Daedra like atronachs that come from the pocket planes would be connected to one of the daedric princes. How you get perk points depends on the Daedric prince you bargained with. Similar to vampires, you have a Daedric form and Daedric perks. The idea is, you bargain a piece of your soul for power with a Daedric prince and in turn, you become a Lesser Daedra.
